Before and after (organizing sucks)
So in order to make our spacious 950 sq ft more usable and to keep us all sane we decided to switch my studio into Gabe's room and I took his old and much smaller room. We are all super happy about it and it makes the place feel so much bigger. It just didn't make sense to have such a huge room dedicated to just me and my stuff and for the most part I didn't really like Gabe in there because he just got into EVERYTHING.
So Gabe's room is all set up and functional but my studio may take a bit longer to straighten out. We are having to store some bigger pieces of furniture which mean I have been going through drawers emptying them out and throwing most of the contents away. You know when you try and organize and give everything a home and your left at the end with all this crap (skrews, plastic pieces to who-knows-what, bits of paper, old christmas cards)? And your like "what the hell do I do with this?" That's where I am today. Just thought I would share. Happy Friday, yippee!!
P.S. HAS ANYONE FIGURED OUT HOW TO PLACE PICTURES IN TEXT HERE ON TYPEPAD THAT LOOKS NORMAL?? It's driving me crazy trying to figure out the spacing.
ah yes, I 've just asked myself and the answer is to use the custom mode when you import the photo and if you choose the 'large' format then you can type just under the photo without any gap and no text wrapping around it.
Does it make sense?

I am totally with you on the moving thing...I've been doing that myself. I have thrown out a bunch, but some things even though you don't know what to do with them, you can't bear to part with! Go figure! haha
I was going to write the same thing that Monica said. I was sooo annoyed with typepad too. But finally figured out that even though it said it was uploading my pictures as large...it really wasn't you actually have to go to "custom" and select large - even though it may already be selected. It's very weird and frustrating. I hope you figure it out! :)
p.s. your place looks gorgeous with all the light streaming in!

we live in 1000 sq foot space too and it's just a constant organizational battle. Somedays I just want to throw everything we don't sit on out. or just the toys at least. And the plastic crap...just keeps moving from one box to another.
