A Little Deer

ah-ha

Ok, I may have jumped the gun on the packing a little bit. I think I can chill for  another week before I get lost in a sea of cardboard. 

So, some of you may be wondering where the heck I have been. Well, to tell you the truth it's nothing really exciting, we have just been immersed in life. Gabe and I have  developed a rhythm to our days and it's so so wonderful. 

1. There has been a weekly kids yoga class for Gabe and I together.
2. Lots of trips to the playground to meet friends
3. I joined an amazing playgroup that I found through the Mothering discussion board (we meet 2 times a week)
4. Trips to the zoo where we are members
5. Trips to the children's museum (we are members there too)
6. Searching for and then finding a fantastic apartment
7. Long walks at our new favorite open space outside the city. Where Guinness, our dog, can run around
8.  Getting to the gym 3-4 times a week (I'm actually running miles!)
9. Getting together with our VERY big family

Enjoying our weekends as a family together is something I'm really treasuring right now and there just has'nt been a lot of room for computer time. It's been nice actually. It's funny - I was looking back through my older posts yesterday morning and what struck me the most was how harried, stressed and unsure of myself I sound. At least to me. It was eye opening "ah-ha" moment. Without getting too detailed...I really have made some serious changes and gotten over some BIG personal hurdles starting at the end of the summer. I can't believe how much better I'm doing these days and to tell you the truth blogging just isn't as important to me as it used to be. I really hope that I can continue with this blog and have it be the joyful and inspiring place I know it can be. I'm debating over whether to move over to blogger to save some mulah. We'll see. I'm taking things slow and I'll be sure to keep you all in the loop. I feel very lucky have readers taking this journey with me.

Oh and how amazing are all the wonderful holiday shop openings! I'm hankering to get something from Stephanie's shop!
  

uuummm yeah....

So I have my computer back...with a new hard drive. So yeah I lost A LOT of work/pictures/other stuff.Good times.

 Life for the time being has gotten in the way of this blog, and I don't foresee a speedy return. Though I AM happy to announce we will be moving...2 WEEKS....before Christmas. Are we crazy? For sure. So in my absence (hopefully temporary) you can picture me not doing anything creative (unless you count taping boxes as creative work) packing my little heart away. 

I can't tell you how EXCITED we are to move. We will be moving to a lovely, much quieter part of the city (i.e. no shootings across the street), we will have all of the following...an eat in kitchen, dining room, living room, 3 bedrooms, 1.5 baths, a Huge basement with bonus room, an attic, a tiny yard, our own FREE laundry and drum-roll please...a DISHWASHER!! NO more washing dishes by hand...the baine of my existence for 2 solid years. 

Oh and did I mention it's a duplex? No more drunk college kids living above us! No listening to the ping-pong ball drop a million times above our head as we try to sleep, no more shouting from the dysfunctional couple living next to us, no more leaking window, no more leaking faucet, no more ghetto-mart on the corner, no more trash in our yard, no more mice (yup...mice. I SWEAR OUR HOUSE IS SUPER CLEAN. I have no idea where they are coming from but the refuse to eat the poison I have so generously left out for them)!

We are SO happy. I can't wait to come back here and do some serious show and tell!
