I can't believe it was only two years ago I was as big as a house and huffing and puffing away, just so I could meet this little guy I had never met before. I can't image my life without you potsticker, my life changed forever that day and I will be forever grateful for that. You inspire me beyond my wildest dreams. I love you, happy birthday sweet baby.

Now...off to plan a party!

ear infections (part 3, 4 and 5)

Well I dropped off for a bit huh?
Between Christmas-y activities and sewing furiously for the shop update happening this Wednesday, Potsticker got an ear infection. A double one of course complete with lots of green snot, puking, sleepless nights and high fevers. Did I mention the half a dozen trips to CVS? Ahh colds...so fun. It looks like some of you out there have been dealing with the same thing. Get better everyone!
I'm not sure how every one else's kids cope when their sick.Here's a little story about mine:

Once upon a time he was so cute and cuddly when he had a fever but now, NOW he is just driving me bananas. I think it's a phase he's going through coupled with feeling sick and he has gone into search and destroy mode. Toys aren't made for playing you see, they are all made for throwing. Food is presented for you to throw directly on the freshly mopped floor and when you ask for juice you REALLY mean milk or water and of course tantrums are in order when this is discovered. OH hitting is a big one right now too along with plain NOT listening. Like I'm talking to a doorknob not listening. He actually has taken to mocking me! He laughs when I yell. I thought kids learned much later on how powerless parents really are. Ugg. So it's um been fun. The huge update I was planning for might be cut by 1/3 but I tell yah it's being crafty that's keeping me SANE right now!

sickness

Last night was um...looooong. Poor Gabe has a nasty cold with lots of nose running, teary eyes and a hight temp. FUN...lemee tell yah.
I-am-tired-too.
Nap in order....along with some catching up on mundane housework. OH and there will be a teenie shop update for the stuffed houses I made over the weekend.

Wednesday is our "weekend" day as some of you know so it was made even better by the summer-like day we had (85+). It was soooo nice. We went to the park and had a picnic and then we went for a ride on the carousel completed by some ice cream. It was so relaxing. I loved watching Gabe crawling around in the grass inspecting pine-cones and stick. I loved see his face light up upon seeing the carousel( he wasn't so happy to get off!).  Though the giant ice cream we got made it all better....of course.

So now here I am trying to get back into work mode,IE cropping and printing and e-mailing and yes lots of list-making. I have actually imposed a NO FLICKR and no BLOG rule until everything is done so you may not be hearing from me in awhile. Have a great weekend everyone...and Mothers Day!
